Journey House is a community of college students and young adults learning to live with curiosity, compassion, and hope.
The Mission
We exist to support young* adults as they explore God and open themselves to love.
OUR VISION
We envision young adults in communities being inspired, connected, and empowered to nurture their whole selves in God.
What do we mean by Young* adult?
We don’t know, this category is constantly changing, like the rest of the world. We care less about the category and more about the people. Young* could include college students, young professionals, parents of young children, Gen X through Gen Z, or anybody who looks around their church and feels “I’m too young for this crowd.”

Check out our FAQ for more information on how we support all young adults.
What's the catch?
There isn’t one. Seriously.
We’re an open and welcoming space for anyone aged 18-40ish. No strings, no dues, no expectations—just show up as you are. Whether you’re exploring faith, questioning life’s direction, or just looking for people to share the ride, we’ve got your back.

Do I need to be Christian or part of a specific church in order to participate?
No, not at all! All are welcome to join us, whether you are actively attending a church and looking for more opportunities to nurture a deeper faith, connect with other young adults from other churches, or to find rest and renewal; or you have no religious connection what-so-ever.
Do I need to bring anything or RSVP for events?
No, just bring yourself! We provide light snacks at every event we host. Some events will have a full meal. You can check on the website, or on the APP for the calendar.
RSVPing for an event helps us plan for how many to expect, but they are by no means required to attend. However, some events will offer child-care for those of us who are young families. In that case, we do ask that you RVSP to let us know you need childcare. This helps ensure we have the proper staffing for the night.

Is Journey House a Church, a Campus Ministry, or What?
Journey House started off as a campus ministry, but we believe we are called to be more than that. You could call us a fresh expression of faith, an intentional missional community focused on young adults, or an alternative worship space! However, we believe we are called to both college students AND young adults. And while we might not be a "church", we are "the church" for those who haven't quite found their place or for those who have been hurt by the church in the past.
What's the deal with all the Contemplative stuff you do?
We believe our Christian faith is so much more than consuming a bunch of stuff about God! Moreover, Church is more than a social gathering, and is most definitely not a space where you just get told a bunch of things you're not suppose to do or be.
God is closer to us than our very breath, and we believe God desires an intimate relationship with each of us. And with so many of us (especially young adults) seeking greater spirituality, we are feeling the need to find a deeper, more grounded faith. Contemplative tradition offers us a path towards this type of faith.

OUR BELIEFS
We believe that...
...every person has a unique story worth telling
...Every question deserves to be heard
...every life carries the image of God.
WHEN WE SAY ALL ARE WELCOMED… WE MEAN ALL ARE WELCOMED! NO CONDITIONS. NO ASTERISK
