Who we are

We are a diverse, ecumenical Christian community, living and growing together in faith. We believe in spreading the good news of God’s unconditional love for everybody, no matter who they are or whom they love; people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions are welcome here. As people of faith, we are committed to the work of racial equity and justice. Our ministry serves the University of Wisconsin, River Falls and Chippewa Valley Technical College.

Peer Leaders

Students are leaders at Journey House, and one way to take full advantage of that option to is to apply to be a Peer Leader who also lives in the private apartment on the second floor of our building. Peer Leaders have the opportunity to serve as leaders in a number of different areas, including social media support, leading worship, helping with Good Food and Good Conversations, leading Bible studies and many others. There are three private sleeping rooms, a shared bathroom, and a small kitchen. Peer Leaders would have access to the living areas and kitchen on the first floor. A full description of the Peer Leader position is available here.
