But Journey House seeks to be a place where we guarantee you’ll feel at home--no matter if you are a student away from home or a young adult looking to build a home.

And it doesn't matter who you are.... you are WELCOMED HERE!
Don't just strive to fit in somewhere.... find a space where you can belong instead.

WE WELCOME YOU AS YOU ARE!
Everyone has a space here, and if you want a seat at the table, we have one for you! We value and welcome people of all origins, gender identities, sexual orientations, socioeconomic standings, family statuses, abilities, and faiths. We cherish you for who you are already and have no desire to try to make you be somebody else. 
WE STRIVE TO BE A BRAVE SPACE
It's easy to stick our heads in the sand to avoid difficult conversations, but we don’t shy away from hard feelings like grief or anxiety. We don’t shy away from hard questions about faith. We are EMBODIED people, and we encourage one another to love boldly, to take up space, and to be opened to growth.
WE PROVIDE A CALMING PLACE
Life is crazy. Life sucks sometimes.  And Life is noisy. Many of us are already stretched as it is, and that's why we seek to be an intentional community of peace. If you need rest, a break, a pause, or just space to catch your breath, we are it! Plus, you find in us a compelling space for young adults to find groundedness in worship and community.
WE WORK TO CREATE A SACRED SPACE
We believe that God sits with us in our joys and tears, in our sufferings and through our successes, and we do too. Journey House is grounded in the rich contemplative tradition and rooted in God’s grace. We play together, we celebrate and support one another, and we act intentionally to create peace in our communities through our unique gifting and callings.
