It is with mixed emotions that I tell you that in two short weeks I will be leaving Journey House Campus Ministry. I have resigned to take a call in Denver Co. where my children and grandchildren live. It has been a challenge and a joy to see Journey House grow and flourish over my eight years here and I thank you for your support and encouragement over those years; it has meant a great deal to me.
Campus Ministry is unique and offers us a chance to be part of young adults lives as they figure out who they will be and it has been my privilege to journey along with them. I have met many great students who give me hope for our future and I will miss all of them both past and present students.
I hope that you will continue to support Journey House and it’s mission in River Falls as it is vitally important to provide the students with a safe place to explore their faith as they journey forth into adulthood.
I will be in my office next week on Tues., Wed. and Thursday if you get a chance to stop by and say good-bye I would love to see you.
Journey House Campus Minister
Welcome back! Many of the students and some staff at Journey House spent the last week in warmer climates enjoying time with family and friends, relaxing and reacquainting themselves with the big yellow ball in the sky. Unfortunately, we did not bring the sun and warmth back with us. :(
Don’t worry….Journey House Campus Ministry has many exciting events still planned for this semester. Be sure to “like” us on Facebook (Journey House Campus Ministry) and you will receive weekly invites to our activities.
Thank you to all of our generous supporters who attended the Journey House Quilt Auction on Friday. We had a wonderful event filled with great music, food and lots of fun. Thank you for your continued support of the students and programs at Journey House!
