“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.” ~ Matthew 25:35-36
One of the easiest (and fun!) ways that we have found to follow Christ’s words and feed the hungry is to serve at Feed My Starving Children. Each semester we organize a group together and carpool to Eagan, MN where we spend a couple of hours learning about the impact of food insufficiency throughout the world, and then respond by helping to pack simple, nutritious meals that get shipped to dozens of countries around the world.
