The Board of Directors of Journey House Campus Ministry is happy to introduce the new administrative team that will lead the Campus Ministry at Journey House.
Laura Ramlow from Baldwin is the new Campus Minister. She is an Associate in Ministry with the Northwest Synod of WisconsinELCA. Laura earned a BA in Music Education from Luther College and an MA from Luther Seminary, and she has served as the Faith Formation Coordinator at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Baldwin, and as an Associate in Ministry at Rush River Lutheran Church. She is also a vocalist/preacher with a music ministry group called Breaking Chains that provides outreach to congregations through music, prayer, and inspirational worship experiences.
Teresa Ginn from Hudson was promoted to the position of Director of Administration for Journey House. Teresa has a BA in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She worked at several organizations in Kentucky, and served as a Development Assistant for Maryhurst, an agency that provides services to children in crisis. Since moving to Wisconsin, she has served as the Administrative Assistant for Hope Lutheran Church in River Falls and served as the Administrative Assistant last year at Journey House.
We welcome this new ministry team and look forward to their work serving the students at UWRF and CVTC, and to their outreach to churches in this region. I hope that you will take the opportunity to meet with them this fall, and we ask that you support them and the ministry of Journey House in your prayers.
Journey House Campus Ministry is an ecumenical Christian outreach serving UW-River Falls and Chippewa Valley Technical College in River Falls. Journey House is sponsored by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), the United Methodist Church, and the Presbyterian Church USA and is housed in a building on the corner of 2nd and Cascade owned and operated by the Wesley Board.
